UPCOMING NEWS & EVENTS!


    

The youth ministry traveled to Brescia University in Owensboro for the Diocesan Youth 2000 Retreat this past weekend. The prayer festival was centered around the Eucharist and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. YOUTH 2000 encourages young people to a personal encounter with Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, to live and proclaim the Gospel message with joy and enthusiasm, and to become evangelizers of the New Evangelization.

 

Participants included Naomi Becker, Samantha Becker, Claire Carrico, Mariah Choat, Kelly Groves, Trinity Higgins, Ging Smith, Therese Smith, Hannah Speis, Sherri Speis, Abby Tyson, Grace Elizabeth Wells, and Lily Wilson.

SPARK

MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH

SPARK Sunday is a gathering open to all middle school students. . During the school year, we meet in the Pope John Paul II Youth Center from 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

What happens THIS WEEK during SPARK? Ping pong, Pizza, & Pictionary!!!

Join us as we kick off our winter youth program with games and discussion on IDENTITY. Where do you find your identity? Jesus sees so much more when He looks at us!

      

REGISTRATION is on-going and students may join at any time. Forms will be available during youth gatherings and must be completed and returned.

EMERGENCY and CALENDAR: Changes to the calendar will be posted on the church website and in the bulletin.  We follow McCracken County Public School for emergency closings.

*XLT = Eucharistic Adoration for the entire community with song, silence, prayer and, sometimes, a talk. Adoration will begin at 5:00 p.m. followed by dinner in the parish hall.

HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH

IGNITE Sunday is a gathering open to all high school students. During the school year, we meet in the Pope John Paul II Youth Center from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

What happens THIS WEEK during IGNITE? Ping pong, Pizza, & Pictionary!!!
