SAFE ENVIRONMENT TRAINING NOW AVAILABLE ON-LINE
Safe
Environment Training is now available online! This new,
convenient training takes less than one hour to complete.
Whether you need
certification for the first time or need to be re-certified, you
may access the new online training at
www.shieldthevulnerable.org.

or e-mail a copy of your Certificate of Completion to our Parish
Office, attention: Lois.
You will be asked
to create a user ID and password and then follow the registration
steps for the Diocese of Owensboro. There is no charge for the
training. The Diocese of Owensboro mandates that all adults who
serve in ministries or programs which involve minor children must
receive Safe Environment Certification and complete a background
check.
If your
background check needs renewing, forms are available online and
can be downloaded to your printer (CLICK
HERE TO DOWNLOAD BACKGROUND CHECK FORMS). Completed forms
should be mailed to: Safe Environment Office, 600 Locust Street,
Owensboro, KY 42301. Send no money.
