Altar Society

The Altar Society provides vital services to our parish.  Funds raised by the Altar Society are used to purchase all hosts, wine, and candles, as well as other liturgical items for all of the Masses. Volunteers help by baking for, and assisting, with Altar Society Bake Sales throughout the year. These are our only fundraising activities. Twenty-four a dult volunteers are also needed on a rotating monthly basis to launder priests'/servers' albs and purificators. The Altar Society also cares for the Candle Stands in both the Chapel and the Gathering Place. Every family is encouraged to be a part of the Altar Society through service and donations!

Funeral Meals

This ministry provides a comforting meal to the family, at the Parish Hall, following the Funeral Mass and burial of a parishioner. Volunteers are needed to cook or purchase; salads, vegetable dishes and desserts for the meal (delivered to the Parish Hall kitchen the morning of the funeral). We try to open the kitchen early enough for food to be dropped off on the way to work. Assistance is also needed with set-up, serving and clean-up the day of the funeral. We welcome the men to help as there is always need for some muscle on the funeral day!
